Dear Mr Farleigh,
I just read your book “Taming the Lion”. Thought it was terrific.
Its clarity of thinking reminded me of another book “The Logic Of Failure: Recognizing And Avoiding Error In Complex Situations”: http://books.google.com.au/books?id=a5q2RAOkmxAC&pg=PA51&lpg=PA51&dq=logic+of+failure+clarity&source=bl&ots=wreMZrmF3e&sig=as8tnN9tPJxBzJ8KWSPKAMcF_y0&hl=en&sa=X&ei=UeKyT-7tJqyYiAey1b3WCA&ved=0CGkQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q&f=false
Interestingly its core thesis was recently extended by a recent article in the Economist: http://www.economist.com/node/17848665
I hope you consider writing a new edition (or a new book) at some point which includes your thoughts on the global financial crisis.
